Vehicle immobilizers — Montreal

Thieves can copy your key. Not your code.

A Killpin holds your engine until a code that only you know is entered. A cloned fob, a relayed signal or a programmer in your dashboard all get the same answer — nothing.

The problem

Your car's factory security was solved years ago.

Modern theft isn't a smashed window and crossed wires. It's three quiet techniques, and every one of them defeats the security your car shipped with — because that security assumes whoever holds a valid key is you.

Vehicle secured

We program and secure these systems every day, so we know exactly where factory security gives way. Killpin was engineered around those weak points — not around a brochure.

An empty parking space
Prevention, not recovery

The car stays where you parked it.

Most anti-theft gear goes to work after the car is gone — an alarm going off, a dot on a map, an insurance claim. Killpin works before any of that. The engine never starts, so there is nothing to chase, nothing to recover and nothing to claim.

How it works

It doesn't guard the key.
It guards the engine.

STEP 01

A hidden module is fitted

Killpin goes in out of sight, and where it sits differs from one car to the next. No keypad, no light, nothing added to your cabin — somebody who has read all about Killpin still has to find this one, in this vehicle.

STEP 02

You enter a code only you know

On the buttons already in your car, or on a discreet keypad if you've chosen Killpin Code. It's yours, it's changeable whenever you like, and it takes a few seconds on your way out.

STEP 03

Without it, the engine stays dead

No code, no start — whatever key, fob or programming tool is present. No override, no remote, no shortcut. That is the entire point of it.

Two systems

Which Killpin is right for your car?

Both hold the engine until a code is entered. The difference is where that code lives — hidden inside your car's own controls, or on a dedicated pad we fit out of sight.

Closed to remote attacks

Remote access is where modern car security gets broken — a phone that can be stolen, an account that can be phished, a signal that can be captured and replayed. Killpin has none of it to break. The only way to start your car is a code entered inside it, by you.

Who builds it

Engineered by North America's first Certified Master Automotive Locksmith.

Master-level locksmithing isn't unlocking doors. It's programming immobilizers, coding transponder keys and working inside the security systems manufacturers build — every day, across every major make. Killpin comes straight out of that expertise.

Common questions

Before you book

What about my manufacturer warranty?

Both systems are fitted by certified automotive locksmiths, to the standard we have used on customer vehicles since 2011. Manufacturer terms vary by brand and by what is being claimed, so we won't make you a blanket promise about yours. Bring us your warranty terms before you book and we'll go through them with you honestly — including telling you if we think it's a problem on your particular vehicle.

What happens if I forget my code?

There's a documented recovery procedure, carried out in person on the vehicle by us or an authorised installer. It is deliberately not something that can be done remotely or over the phone — if it could be, that would be the weakness the whole product exists to avoid.

How long does the installation take?

It depends on the vehicle and where the module is being hidden. We'll give you a realistic time when you book, once we know the year, make and model — rather than quote an average that turns out not to apply to your car.

Could somebody find it and disable it?

We don't publish where Killpin sits or how it's fitted, and that's deliberate — every detail in public is one less thing somebody has to work out for themselves. What we will say is that no security product should be described as impossible to beat given unlimited time and access. What this does is make your car a far worse prospect than the one parked beside it.

Where can I get a car immobilizer installed in Montreal?

At our workshop in Decarie Square — 6900 Decarie Blvd, Montreal QC H3X 2T8. We fit Killpin immobilizers there, and we can also come to you anywhere in Greater Montreal if the vehicle can be worked on in an enclosed garage. Call 514-422-0303 with your year, make and model and we'll confirm what fits before you book.

How much does a Killpin cost?

We quote per vehicle rather than publishing a single price, because what's involved differs between cars — which system fits, where the module goes, and how long the install takes. Send us the year, make and model and you'll get a firm number before you commit to anything. No deposit and no obligation to book.

Do you fit these outside Montreal?

Not yet directly. We're building a certified installer network across Canada — if you're outside Greater Montreal, tell us your city and we'll let you know when there's an installer near you.

Find out which Killpin fits your car.

Send us the year, make and model. We'll tell you what we can fit, what it involves, and what it costs — before you commit to anything.
