Killpin isn't a brand that licensed somebody else's security product. It was engineered at Autokey in Montreal, by a team that programs immobilizers, codes keys and works inside manufacturer security systems every day — which is exactly why we know where they fail.
Since 2011 Autokey has been programming immobilizers, coding transponder and smart keys, and diagnosing security modules for dealerships, fleets, insurers and drivers across Montreal. That is specialist electronic work on systems manufacturers keep closely guarded — and an unusually direct education in how they behave under attack.
Killpin came out of that. Not from a product roadmap, but from watching which cars kept coming back stolen and noticing that the thing they had in common wasn't a weak lock — it was that a key was the only thing the engine ever asked for.

You'll notice this site doesn't claim a percentage of theft reduction, a count of vehicles protected worldwide, or a customer satisfaction score. That's on purpose. Figures like those circulate freely in this industry and almost none of them trace back to anything.
What we'll tell you instead is precisely how the product works, precisely what it doesn't do, and who is responsible when it's on your car. If that's less impressive than a statistic, it has the advantage of being checkable.
Send us the year, make and model. We'll tell you what we can fit, what it involves and what it costs — before you commit to anything.
